Professional Juice Fast Menu

The professional cleanse:

1. Chlorophyll, ginger, EFA oil, lemon juice, cayenne pepper

2. Kale, celery, apple, coriander, lime

3. kale, beet, apple, carrot, ginger, lemon

4. kale, cucumber, celery, parsley, lemon

5. almond milk, kale, mango, hemp protein

This is the same cleanse used by Gwen Stefani, Demi Moore, Pink and some other heavy hitters. But I think I like my menu better.

The key to this cleanse is learning to love ginger.

Kim

Juice Fasting For Weight Loss And Endless Energy Day 8

Hello All,

It's day 8 and I am feeling good, I have lost 7 pounds and I am breaking out worse than usual. Which are probably the toxins trying to feel themselves. My energy is good and my mind is crystal clear. So much that I remember things from when I was a kid. I just have weird memories that that come out of no where. Plus I notice all the times when I would have eaten out of borden and habit, which is quite frequent.

Other notable mentions that stick out with my new found clarity is all of the advertising for fast food and processed junk food. It is amazing what these companies do to keep people addicted and feeling miserable. It's completely disgusting, horrifying and explains the obesity epidemic, and the sorry state of mental and emotional health for many people.
I am 100% positive that most of my depression was linked to my crappy diet. I now realize what a lot of the raw food guru's are talking about when they say that they are looking for or have found the truth. I have learned a lot in the past few days and some of it is damn scary. On that happy note……

Since I'm not at red bull energy levels yet, possibly because of the mini rainbow I have been eating, which might actually be a medium rainbow, I am going to enlist the help of a "professional" cleansing establishment. Like a desperate dude sometimes you gotta pay for it. That's so awful, but oh well. HAHA.
The professional establishment makes the juice for you and you pick it up every morning. I do know that on the Pro fast they have you drink at smootie at the end of the day so you can start the night de-send into chill hood, then transition to sleep. Which is really good because the first 2 days of the fast it was difficult to fall asleep at the usual bedtime.

However, just to clarify real quick, my energy levels are still a lot higher than normal. For example, once I am done with work, I don't feel like I need to go home and sleep right away, like I usually did, I am still up for errands, etc. and this weekend I "redecorated" my place which I have wanted to do for a long time. Then when I do sleep it's deep and sound. Even though I still have to get up and go to the bathroom. lol. :)

I will post the "professional" juice fast menu tomorrow. Ending the day on a smoothie is a great idea;

Juice Fasting For Weight Loss And Endless Energy Day 5

It's day 5 and I still feel good, but a little out of it. Like I kind of zoned out for a second at a stop light while I was reading a bill board. However, that could be due to Aunt flow being in town.

My energy level is good and I am not really hungry, but I ended up having 2 banana's and a handful of nuts this morning because the gym was not a place I wanted to be. And normally I don't even think about it, I roll outta bed and go.

I decided if I have to add a few raw fruit's to be able to maintain the cleanse and still work out so be it.

Eating just a small raw rainbow should be okay. Not like the full arch that my hoggula self is used to.

Regardless, I am not craving bad stuff, energy levels are steady, and I feel lighter and tighter. Tomorrow I am going to check my weight and try to get a little more sleep in order to do some more marathon training and form my abs of steel. lol

KEEP ON TRUCKIN MY FELLOW SUGARKICKERS :)

Juice Fasting For Weight Loss And Endless Energy Day 3

I have lost 2 pounds by day 3, and strangely enough I still feel pretty good. My head is clear and I'm more focused on important things.

I am not sweatin the small stuff like I usually do. Like traffic jams, my irritating family dramas, work stress, etc.

My energy is steady, but not skyrocketing.

I am not hungry nor craving foods that I thought I would. Things seem very at peace and unusually calm.

It is only day 3 so it seems too early to have any great revelations.

My plan is to go 18 more days so I can reach my goals and feel the "magic" of fasting, while training for a half marathon.

Crazy?
I think so.

Keep on truckin my fellow Sugar Kickers!!!

Motivatation To Burn Fat Fast

Sometimes when you're not around like minded healthy people or life gets a little dull, it's good to have external motivators on hand.

I am talking real kicks in the butt to get you off your butt. For me it's the Rock n Roll marathon in Las Vegas, NV. The idea fell out of the sky when I asked my friend about her t shirt...

I was like a deer in head lights, " ooooh you ran a marathon, how scary, and cool!"

After the full interrogation I was thinking, hmmmm maybe I should do that too. Sounds like a perfect YOLO activity. And it's only 7 months away…….ok, I think I'll do it.

After registering and paying the non refundable fee, I decided that it's go time and training season is on. This is a perfect excuse stopper.
It doesn't matter if I am tired from working 40+ hours, or stressing about traffic, bills, etc. The goal is crystal clear and within a tangible grasp.

It feels great to have a fitness goal, aside from looking like a sexy beast,to get you out of your own stressed head and focus on something positive and important. Sometimes all it takes is a dead line and a clear purpose to fine tune your workouts and provide a concrete reason to high tail it to the gym.

Similarities Between Sugar Addiction and Cocaine Addiction

When I was addicted to sugar I lived the life of a drug addict. From the time I woke up until the time I went to sleep my thoughts were consumed with sugar.

Mostly I was trying to figure out how to quit and get my life back, instead of living like a junkie hermit.

The secret is out that sugar is as toxic as battery acid and yet people can't say no.

The following is a list of the similarities between sugar and cocaine:

1. The user is provided with quick energy then dropped lower to when they first started.

2. They destroy the liver.

3. They are both devoid of nutrients.

4. Most people will consume the substance until it's gone. Even if they feel sick and crazy.

5. It's consumed in secrecy.

6. People spend more money than normal.

7. They both rot teeth and give the user bad breath.

8. They stimulate the same neural pathways in the brain.

9. They both change and damage the users DNA.

10 The user develops a tolerance where they need to increase the amount to get to the same euphoric state.

11. They both consume the users thoughts and actions.

12. Cause depression, and suicidal thoughts even if a person has no history of depression.

13. Makes the user feel like their life is out of control.

14. Ages people faster.

15. The user is easily triggered in the quest for more consumption.

16. People get angry and cranky when they don't have it.

17. Causes the user to feel strung out and in a fog.

18. Makes concentration extremely difficult.

19. Causes memory disruption.

20. Causes joint pain.

21. Causes severe hangover type symptoms.

At the moment the most significant difference is that cocaine is illegal and sugar is dressed up like a wolf in sheeps clothing baiting the next victim.

How To Stop Sugar Binges Before They Start

When people get too hungry, angry, lonely, and tired (AKA the HALTS) it's extremely easy to get derailed from a clean diet and end up in the Krispy Kreme drive though.

Most of my sugar binges were fueled by one or all of these elements. Once these negative emotions get in the drivers seat it's easy to forget the important things in life and fall back on old habits. However, after the emotions are identified and called out, it's easy to get back on track. I mean super easy, with in seconds.

Often feeling disorganized and tired would set me up for potential diet misdemeanors and possible felonies. Then I would automatically go through the HALT LIST, which would settle my anxiety and help to get a grip of my feelings and refocus my energy.

It helps to stay prepared because life is unpredictable and sh*t always happens.

HELPFUL HINTS:

When temptation strikes ask yourself: I am too Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired (HALTS) or all of the above. Try and find the root of the problem and address it directly BEFORE YOU END UP IN THE KRISPY KREME DRIVE THROUGH.

As Dr. Phil says, "you can't change what you don't acknowledge".

1. Identify HALTS

2. Have Healthy food and water with you so you don't end up in a dangerous sugar situation.

3. Stay hydrated. I aim for 1 gallon of water a day. It takes a lot of water to flush fat and toxins.

4. Realize you can't change people, places or things. This will save you a lot of time and energy in the long run.

Once I really focused on only being able to change myself a huge weight was lifted. I decided to stick around the like minded people and dump the rest.

It sounds harsh but trying to change someone to become the person YOU want them to be is futile, you might as well try and paddle up stream with one ore in the water. You will get no where fast and exhaust yourself in the process.

When forced to be around negaholics i.e., coworkers, family members, etc. I just try and stay focused on my goals and go through my mental check list of things to do and block out their negativity. Which takes practice, but is very doable.

When in doubt focus on healthy goals and do more than you did yesterday to achieve them.

Rock on my fellow SugarkickerS!!!!!

KIM:)
